Scientific Paper – Jimmy Elser
Scientific literacy is defined as the knowledge and understanding of scientific processes and the ability to relay that information to others in your own words. An example of of me learning how to do this was with the cricket lab and scientific paper we wrote following the lab. During this assignment we were required to find multiple scientific articles and use them in our paper. This was a difficult process but the more I worked on it the more I started to understand it. I believe that the statement “Demonstrate scientific literacy and the ability to communicate science-based information” is important for college students because the ability to understand scientific literacy and write scientific literacy is a difficult task and shows a higher form of intelligence.
